Welcome to the new Reeves Independent website. We’re delighted to finally share it with you, and we wanted to take a moment to explain what’s changed and why. For many people, retirement is one of the biggest financial decisions they’ll ever make, yet it can also feel like one of the most daunting. So when we sat down to plan the new site, one goal kept coming back to the top of the list: we wanted to make retirement planning feel simpler.
There’s a huge amount of information out there, but when you’re thinking about your own retirement, the questions are usually much more personal. When can I afford to retire? Have I got enough? What kind of retirement can I realistically have? And what happens if my plans change?
People want clear, straightforward answers without having to work their way through pages of jargon first. That thinking has been at the heart of our new website.
We’ve made the site cleaner, quicker and easier to navigate, whether you’re using your phone, tablet or computer. But for us, it wasn’t just about giving the website a new look. We wanted to make it more useful and give people a better starting point for thinking about their retirement.
One of the biggest additions is our new pension calculator.
It gives you a simple way to explore different retirement scenarios and see how changing the figures can change the overall picture. You can try different options, see what they could mean and start to get a better idea of the questions you might want to ask.
Of course, a calculator can only ever be a starting point. It’s an illustration rather than personal financial advice and it can’t guarantee what will happen in the future. But it can help make those initial conversations about retirement a little more informed.
We’ve also made it easier to get in touch.
Whether you have a quick question or you’re ready to talk through your plans in more detail, finding the right way to reach us should only take a few clicks. Tools and information can help you get started, but advice that is specific to you will always come from one of our advisers, who will take the time to understand your situation before making any recommendations.
And that’s probably the most important point.
The technology might be new, but our approach hasn’t changed. We still believe good financial advice starts with understanding the person, their circumstances and what they want to achieve.
The new website simply gives you an easier way to learn, explore your options and take that first step.
