For National Apprenticeship Week 2022, we spoke to our LOA Administration Apprentice, Jayde, about why she loves working at Reeves Independent.
What is your role at Reeves Independent?
I am currently doing my Customer Service Level 2 at Reeves Independent Ltd having worked for the company for just over 6 months. Reeves Independent is a financial adviser firm specialising in pensions who strive to help clients meet their retirement goals and deliver industry leading services.
What have you learnt whilst working here?
Working at Reeves Independent has provided me with an insight into the financial world and helped to develop my interest in the sector. In my day-to-day job I am solely responsible for all post that comes in and out of the business as well as the first point of contact for phone calls with clients and potential prospects. It has helped me gain and improve my skills in both communication and customer service internally and externally, as well as my own people skills both inside and outside of work. I participate in the social committee helping to organise our monthly socials which contributes to team building and the culture in the business. Additionally, I am in the culture club that is working towards building a brighter and better structure as we grow rapidly as a business
Why would you recommend Reeves Independent as a place to work?
Reeves Independent is a fantastic place to work as I have been given so many opportunities to gain experience within my role as well as getting a taste in other areas of the business such as administration and paraplanning where I would like to pursue my career. I enjoy working for Reeves Independent as there is never a dull day, there is always something to get stuck into and everyone is always willing to give extra training and help when I need it and there is opportunity for progression in different areas of the business.
