Get in Touch and Stay on Track

Updated: Jul 21, 2022

Over the next three months at Reeves we’ll be focusing on making sure our clients’ retirement plans stay on track, with our account managers reviewing the previous year and looking at clients’ goals.

To facilitate this, it’s important that clients book their calls with their account managers and, in the first month of the campaign, more than 600 clients have already done so and this number continues to grow. Due to the success of the campaign, we will be continuing our annual review meetings into the fourth quarter.

We will also be hosting a number of webinars focusing on housing and property. A home makes a significant contribution to building wealth, so getting onto the property ladder is something we encourage and there’s a range of options and products to help people achieve this.

One Reeves client, Rachel Stapleton, had been working and saving money into a pension all her working life. This is what she’d always been told she should do in order that she could enjoy a comfortable retirement.

But she didn’t know how much income she would need in retirement and therefore how much she needed to save, or what constitutes a ‘good’ pot, or which sort of pension was most appropriate for her.

Rachel just knew that she’d like to retire as soon as possible, but, because she didn’t have the answer to the other questions, she didn’t know how soon this could realistically be achieved.

Reeves ongoing service provided her with a retirement forecast and this showed her that she was on track to achieve her retirement goals and, yes, she would be able to retire early and enjoy the kind of lifestyle she wanted.

We also gave her a full breakdown of how extract her money from her pension over time in the most tax-efficient way, protecting the fund for her family.

As with Rachel, an annual review will help you to understand your retirement.

  • Are you on track?

  • How have things performed and do we need to make any changes for you?

  • What do you still need to do to have the retirement you want?

Catch up with your adviser - for the financial planning you know you need and for the planning that you might not even have thought of.
