Another week of home working is over and another decent week in some respects. Hope you have enjoyed the bank holiday weekend.
Fin plan wizard – with immediate effect Ryan will be our fin plan wizard. Any problem speak with him. It has a great range of reporting options, people control systems and financial management options. Ryan is investigating if we have opportunity to improve our usage of fin plan. We are focussing on the new company structures and how it works and base reporting at submitted and payment end of the sales process.
The coronavirus questionnaire: It’s been well received by clients and we will now trial it today with prospect emails. An initial 1500 people are to receive it and our aim is to get 15 ifa1 meetings from it. (based on stats from correlating clients / prospect news letter stats).
Company future: The next stage of the implementation of the ‘reeves future growth’ project will be 1:1 meetings with those interested. These will start week commencing 17 may. Please email me (nigel) your preferences for dates.
Brendan Regan starts work on Monday 11th May. He joins at an exciting and difficult period of time. He adds much needed financial acumen together with personnel and operational management experience.
The post is full time and he will directly oversee Zoe, Gareth and Jack C. He will work closely with myself and Paul Donachey in day to day operations, assist with strategy and drive general growth of the business.
His week starts with a number of ‘where are we now meetings’ with his close working colleagues.
The appointment will see the end of Alex and Glens involvement both leaving at the end of May. Thanks to both for their contribution since they have been with us. Alex will carry on doing pay roll for now.
The ‘a team’ is ready and prepared to return to the office. If you have asked to be in the first batch of staff to return to the office then please make sure Zoe knows and you have your ‘safe seating’ planned. Watch this space as we await advice from ‘Boris’.
Risk MATRIX – I have been through this months business submitted / written register and raised a number of matters with Paul Donachey and Josh. They will discuss with relevant people. Detail, due diligence and consistancy is of greatest importance.
Reeves Essential: is the name given to the new service for clients with under 100k and under 55 years of age. The service is being run by David. He’s one week in. Chris Lockerbie is currently looking after the retired clients.
Wills Service: Next project review at end of May. Any questions on progress ask Bill. It’s a new process and new opportunity. Ellis is to join Bill.
Zoom remains our preferred client virtual meeting tool. The next assessment is at the end of May where client presenters should be focussed on an ‘excellent rating’. Ryan is developing version 2 and Paul Donachey is implementing change.
Acquisition: two client banks are being purchased. New directors are to be appointed. Reeves independent (Acquisitions) ltd is now set up.
