Questions

  • Do you work with any size pension?
    Our Pensions service is designed for clients who, ideally, have £100k in their pensions savings. However, we do also offer a service for those that have less.
  • What will you require from me?
    There will be a 15-minute phone call with one of our introductory team to find out a little more about you, your pension situation, your retirement goals, any obstacles that you face and how we can help you. This will ensure the advice we provide is appropriate for your needs. We will require details relating to your pensions (if known) during this call. We’ll also ask you to provide authority to speak to your current providers about your accounts. You’ll then need to set aside some time for a slightly longer meeting during which time we’ll talk you through our analysis and present our recommendations for how to get the most from your current pension savings.
  • How long will I have to wait before recieiving your recommendations?
    That depends on the complexity of your existing pension arrangements and retirement goals, but we would normally expect to be able to present our recommendations with a month of our first meeting.
  • Will you move my pensions as part of this service?
    Yes, but only if you ask us to. We don’t do anything with our clients’ investments without their authority beforehand. If there is a charge for executing any transaction we will advise you of this at the time.
  • Can I stop the process if I don’t want to proceed after the first meeting?
    Yes. Just tell us that you don’t want to proceed any further. We’d be disappointed but it’s important that you feel comfortable with your adviser.
  • Why are you providing your advice for free?
    The reason why we provide the initial review free of charge is because we are confident that our expert staff can provide you with a quality service, that will demonstrate how we can help you achieve your retirement goals if you were to become a client.
  • What happens after I've signed up?
    We’ll be in touch by telephone within one working day of you clicking the button above to arrange your introductory call. If you need to speak with us beforehand please call our client service team on 0800 989 0029. Our offices are open 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday.
  • Will you look at all the available options for me?
    Of course we will. We are an independent financial adviser and are obliged to consider all the options that are available to help you achieve your retirement goals. We are not tied to any particular providers so you can be confident that the advice we provide is the best for you.
  • Are there any types of pension you can't work with?
    We are authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to advise you on any Defined Contribution (Money Purchase) scheme and work in partnership with a specialist form which provides advice on Defined Benefit (Final Salary and CARE) pension schemes.
  • What types of pension do you manage?
    We are authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority to advise you on all types of defined contribution schemes. We also work with a partner firm to offer advice on defined benefit (final salary or CARE) pensions.
