About the Role

Position: Digital Marketing Assistant

Salary: £20,000 a year

Key Responsibilites

General Marketing & Brand Awareness

  • Producing content for social media, blogs, newsletters, the website, and webinars designed to engage with both prospective and existing clients.

  • Utilising social media to drive traffic to the website and to get prospective clients to book IFA1’s, and eventually return LOA’s.

  • Collecting data to analyse the effectiveness of communications, derive insights, and to implement recommendations

  • Logging external communications for compliance purposes.

Social Media  

  • Create social media posts.

  • Use analytics tools to gauge the success of campaigns.

  • Research industry innovations and tools.

  • Update posts to include relevant keywords for search engine optimization.

  • Prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics.

  • Create content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on Reeves Independent site, and encourages audience participation.

  • Using timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits – Hootsuite 

Webinars

  • Develop and manage a calendar of webinars that will expand Reeves Independent client knowledge and understanding and generate new prospective leads.

  • Coordinate scheduling and deliverables with webinar presenters.

  • Work with subject matter experts to develop webinar descriptions.

  • Work closely to ensure the successful promotion of all webinars.

  • Organise and provide training to presenters during webinar rehearsals.

  • Develop benchmark criteria to measure webinar effectiveness and implement improvements as necessary.

  • Increase the number of webinars offered per year and, by strengthening webinar offerings, the number of participants who attend each webinar.

Newsletter

  • Write blog posts and marketing copy to promote our products and services.

  • Proofread, re-structure and edit articles by content writers.

  • Update our website and social media pages with new content.

  • Craft and send our monthly newsletters.

  • Improve illustration in collaboration with marketing and design teams.

  • Optimize published pieces using SEO guidelines.

Analytics

  • Gather analytics and reports that cover the following are:

  • FCA Register

  • Webinar analytics

  • Newsletter Analytics

  • Databox – LOA, Trustpilot, Website, Social Media and brochure downloads.

Desirable Experience and Education:

Our ideal candidate will have:​

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications or a related subject. 

  • At least one year of experience working in a Digital Marketing role.

  • Experience using Google Ads and Facebook and LinkedIn Ads.

  • A self starter attitude - the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, show initiative, and be able to work independently.

  • Able to prioritise and manage workload effectively, meet multiple deadlines and be detail oriented.

  • Comfortable working in a small but growing team, supporting each other when necessary.

  • Able to clearly articulate insights, results and ideas internally and also to communicate effectively with clients through engaging copy and content creation.
