Position: PR & Communications Lead

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 a year

Key Responsibilities

Web & SEO

  • Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.

  • Ensure all-around consistency in line with our brand guidelines including tone of voice, imagery, fonts, and brand authenticity.


  • You will work with our Campaign Manager to ensure the content and style of our campaigns are correct.

  • Consider the tone of voice, messages and language used for the range of life stage campaigns based on our client ideologies.



Newsletter & Blogs

  • You will produce content for our newsletters, manage our editorial calendar and ensure timely publications.

  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics.


Social Media

  • You will manage our social media accounts, creating and publishing engaging content, boosting engagement with the audience, and increasing new followers.

  • Writing, editing and publishing engaging content for various social channels, including multiple LinkedIn Platforms, Facebook and Twitter.

  • Optimising social media posts (language, tone, message) based on our target audience’s behaviours.


PR & Sponsorship  

  • Working cross-team to manage our website, and PR efforts, and provide support to our Senior Management Team.

  • Writing press releases for print and digital media.



  • Monitor and analyse the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer suggestions for improvement

  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)

  • Use search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of a website in search results.

  • Research and evaluate competitor marketing with a focus on content.

Desirable Experience and Education:

Our ideal candidate will have:​

  • At least 3 years’ experience working within an Executive/Managerial role within content and PR (essential)

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related fields (essential)

  • Previous content or copywriting experience (essential)

  • Ability to manage your time effectively and accurately to meet multiple deadlines (essential)

  • Excellent attention to detail (essential)

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (essential)

  • Knowledge of Canva, InDesign and Premiere Pro (desirable)

  • Portfolio of published articles (desirable)
